Repairing a chip in your windscreen is faster than replacing a windscreen. Our O'Brien® expert technicians can usually repair the chip and restore your windscreen within 30 to 60 minutes. Plus you can drive away immediately as soon as the chip is repaired.
The cost of fixing your vehicle glass depends on various factors including the size and position of your damage, the make, model and age of your vehicle ad whether you have an insurance policy which covers glass repair.
For O'Brien® to repair a windscreen chip it needs to meet specific requirements. If you have a windscreen chip that’s smaller than an Australian $1 coin and not impeding the driver’s vision you may only require a repair. Otherwise, a windscreen replacement is recommended.
